Eastlands Residential Estate
Gauteng, South Africa
Eastlands Retirement Village, Benoni Gauteng. A large, upmarket residential estate. As an out-of-sight facility, we installed technology that is silent, odourless and fully automated, that can handle 120 Kl/day underground. Water is recycled for reuse, plus irrigation.
Sucassa Apartment Complex
Nairobi, Kenya
In 2015, we installed 4 x BioReactor 150 – 2 chamber system with a capacity to clean 900 m³/day of wastewater generated from the apartment complex being constructed in Kenya’s capital city.
English Point Hotel Complex
Mombasa, Kenya
Our LWI system was installed during construction of the prestigious luxury hotel English Point Marina in Mombasa Kenya: The plant is situated in the basement of the hotel, and was placed prior to construction and finishing of the upper floor levels. The wastewater is reused to irrigate the hotel gardens and for toilet flushing.
Regiumanual Apartment Complex
Accra, Ghana
In 2014, for a housing complex for more than 7000 residents, we installed a 7 x LWI system, with a capacity to treat 1000 m³/day. The development is situated on the a the outskirts of Accra, Ghana.
Mabvazuwa Housing Complex
Harare, Zimbabwe
Mabvazuwa is a complete new community situated 30 km outside Harare. The development includes 1 800 residential stands, and a dam. Our involvement in this project as an equity partner included the raising of finance, plus the design, construction and operation of a 2Ml potable water plant to be delivered in 2 phases of 1Ml each. Phase 3 , which will commence soon, with a 3 Ml/day WWTP, and will also include a recycling system in which clean water will be stored in the dam.
Borrowdale Brooke Housing Complex
Harare, Zimbabwe
Borrowdale Brooke, Harare 2017. An 18-hole, 6 201 metre golf course, with a residential development comprising 600 houses. With a treatment and recycling plant producing 400 000 litres of clean water daily for water reuse, irrigating the entire estate meant a highly efficient green solution in more ways than one!
Residential Complex
Panama City, Panama
The technology used for the Borrowdale Brooke project in Zimbabwe, is based on the BioKube for a major residential complex in Panama City, Panama. As a major benefit for the developers, the footprint of the plant that caters for 600 houses only requires the space equivalent to three of those houses. So at LWI our technology results in minimising space while maximising efficiencies.
